Research On Renewal And Protection Strategies Of Ciyun Ancient Street Historic Distric In Chongqing From The Perspective Of Morphological Typology

In the research and practice field of urban architecture,the methods of urban morphology and architectural typology are inseparable,they combine their own advantages to form a more practical morphological typology.This research method is to understand the structure and characteristics of urban form through the conceptual cognition and framework analysis of urban morphology,and to analyze the internal logic of morphology formation and evolution based on the evolution of typology,it has features of ’morphological cognition outside and type interpretation inside’.In view of this,this paper uses the morphological typology analysis method to take ’Ciyun Ancient Street’,an important part of the Ciyun Temple-Mishi Street-Longmenhao Historical and Cultural Street in Chongqing as the key object of this study.Explore how the research methods of morphological typology play a role and create value in protecting and updating historical and cultural blocks through analysis of the material morphological elements of the block.The text framework of this paper is as follows: firstly,explore the key issues,objectives and significance of this topic through the systematic analysis and arrangement of the research on the protection and update of morphological typology and historical and cultural blocks in China and abroad.Secondly,explore further the morphological typology research elements,research methods and research results obtained from the fusion of the two through discussing the core morphology and research methods of Conzenian approach and Caniggian approach.Combined with domestic practice cases and existing historical documents,the analytical methods used were adjusted appropriately,and the morphological elements and scales of Ciyun Ancient Street Typology were determined.Thirdly,use the adjusted morphological type analysis method to study the street and street systems,street profiles and blocks,architectural layout and types in different time period,meanwhile,combine the historical information(culture,economy,and society)of the corresponding period to confirm the succession process of various morphological elements and its characteristics.The author explores the evolution rule and influencing factors of the morphological type of Ciyun Ancient Street through the above analysis process and research results,based on this,they can provide effective suggestions and strategies for the historical protection and renewal of Ciyun Ancient Street.Finally,the author summarizes the research process and subject content,extracts the research results of both theory and practice,and rethink the shortcomings of this research.The paper further believes that under the situation of incomplete map information,the historical maps and scenes can be restored accurately through the comparison of creative historical images and the research of few existing project archives,so as to present the Ciyun Ancient Street evolutionary trajectory of each important historical stages since openning to outside world.These can provide powerful morphological basis for the historical protection of the block,and the effective method for the planning and design of traditional historical blocks in Chongqing has been found.
