Studies On The Architectural Complex Of Wangye Temple

As an important part of guild buildings,guild buildings in Bashu area differ in architectural culture and spatial environment characteristics due to different industries.Meanwhile,it also bears the characteristics of regional architecture in Bashu and the commonness of guild buildings.As a kind of trade guild hall,Wangye temple is widely distributed in Bashu area.The trade organizations behind it are mainly ship organizations,which are closely related to the waterway transportation in river basin.The rise and decline of Wangye temple also reflects the rise and decline of water transportation in Bashu area to some extent,and its architectural culture and spatial characteristics also reflect the development of industry,economy,humanity and social changes in a specific period.The research takes Wangye temple in Bashu area as the main research object.Through specific case analysis,it comprehensively discusses the architectural culture and spatial environment characteristics of Wangye temple in Bashu area in the logical order from macro to meso to micro.Firstly,the research summarizes the evolution process and existing examples of the guild halls in Bashu area,as the background of studying Wangye temple.Then,the paper expounds the historical causes of Wangye temple from the spiritual demand of water god sacrifice and the material space demand of industrial activities,and summarizes the symbiotic relationship between its formation mechanism and water transport.The chapter 4 sorts out Wangye temple recorded in literature and existing in Bashu area,drew charts,and analyzed the close relationship between the site selection and distribution of Wangye temple and natural elements as well as social and economic elements,which was the reflection on the architectural space environment of Wangye temple at the macro level.The chapter 5 focuses on the characteristic analysis of the architectural space environment of Wangye temple,conducts the architectural ontology analysis from the perspective of meso,covers the overall layout of the spatial environment and the construction of the core space,and mainly summarizes the unique landscape environment of Wangye temple and various treatment methods of waterfront space.The chapter 6 analyzes the construction techniques and decoration characteristics of Wangye temple and summarizes its regional construction techniques.As an industry guild hall with ship organization as the main body,Wangye temple in Bashu area is influenced by water transportation culture,gang culture,Bashu regional culture and immigrant culture comprehensively in the formation and development of its architectural culture.Various cultures interpenetrate and blend with each other,profoundly affecting the formation mechanism,site selection and distribution,architectural space,construction techniques and even sculpture art of the temple.Due to the multiple influences of the above culture,the Wangye temple presents its unique architectural characteristics,which is different from other guild halls in Bashu area and can be used as a slice for studying guild halls in Bashu area.
