Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Gareater Bay Area(GHMGBA)urban agglomeration is an important platform for China to build an international bay area,a world-class urban agglomeration and participate in global competition.As the most radiating and influential economic space in China,GHMGBA is important to China's future economic development.effect.Since the rise of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Gareater Bay Area to the national strategy in 2017,it has attracted the attention of many urban and rural planning scholars and geographers.The spatial and temporal evolution of construction land in GHMGBA is of great significance for the development of urban agglomerations and regional planning in Gareater Bay Area.Therefore,it is of great value to explore the evolution process of urban agglomeration construction land in GHMGBA to optimize its spatial development.This paper attempts to use the remote sensing data to invert the evolution process of urban agglomeration construction in GHMGBA from a quantitative perspective,and to explore its development mechanism.Then benchmark the other world-class three major Bay Areas and sort out the commonalities and experiences of the development of the Bay Area.Therefore,for the specific,the idea of optimizing the urban agglomeration of GHMGBA is proposed.This paper firstly interprets the literature research in GHMGBA,and finds that the existing research on GHMGBA is mostly qualitative research from the perspective of policy,and lacks empirical research on spatial evolution using quantitative methods.Then through the combing of the research results of urban agglomeration development and urban expansion at home and abroad,it is considered that urban spatial expansion feature recognition and driving mechanism mining are two basic dimensions of cognitive urban development.The nighttime light data is a commonly used remote sensing data that can be used to analyze the city scale.The light intensity value can be used to distinguish between urban built-up areas and rural areas.The use of different years of lighting can reflect the changing process of the built-up area within a certain period of time.Therefore,this paper uses nighttime light data to simulate the research method of urban built-up area land use,using ArcGIS software,select the DMSP/OLS(in 1992-2013 in service)and NPP/VIIRS(2011-present)nighttime lighting data from 1992-2017.The spatial evolution of urban agglomerations in GHMGBA.This paper describes the evolution of urban built-up areas inGHMGBA from three aspects: expansion intensity,expansion direction and expansion pattern.It systematically and comprehensively analyzes the evolution law of construction land in the Bay Area of GHMGBA for 25 years.The measured index used has extended strength,center of gravity offset index,Moran's I index,cold hot spot index.After that,combined with the statistical data of the same period,the panel data regression model was constructed by using the measurement software Eviews to analyze the dynamic mechanism of urban population development in GHMGBA.The results show that:(1)GHMGBA has changed from traditional rapid expansion to contraction development.The optimized growth of marginal areas and organic renewal of core areas are new development trends;(2)Urban expansion of GHMGBA The time and space difference is obvious,the development focus is mainly on the east coast,promoting the rapid development of the western bay area,and the focus of the built-up area to return to the geometric center is an important strategy to promote integration;(3)GHMGBA formed on the basis of spatial dispersion mechanism.The typical multi-center network group structure,further strengthen the decentralized mechanism to promote spatial equilibrium is the key point of integration construction;(4)The driving factors driving the development of GHMGBA urban agglomeration are,in order of influence degree,ordering outward force,market power and administrative power.Endogenous forces and the integration of the Bay Area need to be flexibly deployed for these four driving mechanisms.Finally,this paper summarizes the evolution model and driving factors of the urban agglomeration built in GHMGBA,with the integration of the Bay Area as the core,and give some suggestions from the aspects of expansion characteristics and policy background.Furthermore,the above research contents are summarized,and the main research conclusions of this paper are obtained,and the research prospects are made for the research deficiency.
