Cultural Landscape Design For The New Campus Area Of The Vocational Colledge

With the development of the college education in my country,there is increasing lack of shortage in the campus space.And it has become a key reason for the development of those schools.Therefore,to extend the campus space becomes the most important goal for them.Since the new opening,the industrial structure of the society in our country has changed largely,and there are a badly lack of the genius with professions and technology.For this reason,the higher vocational colleges turned to increasingly important for people and the society.The growing importance of the higher vocational colleges also bring with the need for extending the college spaces.However,having been equipped the campus with beautiful environment and modern facilities,the new campus also faces with the problems such as lacking cultural atmosphere in the campus landscape,and the inner connection with the old campus.Xingjiang railway vocational and technical college is the only professional college major in railway vocation in Xingjiang.And it also has a long history,large-scale,and a strong influence.The construction of the new campus is not only in the milestone for the history of the school,but also plays as a model for the campus construction in the Xinjiang Vocational Education System.This thesis will combine the theory research of the planning and landscape design of the professional college and the case study of the successful campus planning projects with the practice of the designing project of the Xinjiang Railway Vocational and Technical College,aiming to explore the planning theory and methodology for the higher vocational colleges.Also,this thesis hope to find a way to embody the campus culture,profession culture,geographical culture and the historical culture in the old campus,and by this way,to provide some valuable suggestions for adding cultural atmosphere in the new campus construction of higher vocational colleges in the future.
