The Landscape Design Of Campus Cultural Square In Loudi Vocational And Technical College

Along with the reform and development of Chinese education system, higher education is changed into mass education from elite education. Accompanied by the expansion of universities and colleges, the campus environment is gradually beautified. The status of the campus landscape design is reckoned in the whole landscape design. Planning of the design of campus and the campus cultural landscape design are the key designs in the whole design of campus landscape. How to coordinate the relationship between the campus landscape planning and the construction of campus culture, to create a beautiful ecological campus environment with strong cultural atmosphere and unique cultural quality has become a problem we have to face.For colleges and universities, the displays of the cultural connontation is an indispensable part of a college’s quality. The campus square landscape is an importantpart part of the whole campus landscape design. The campus square is a platform serving for teachers and students inside the campus and the communities outside of it. At the same time, it is an important window showing the college culture and the idea of running a school. If the cultural connotation can be represented through a variety of space construction, landscape carrier and visual representation,cultural quality, running idea and research direction of the college can be released well in the square landscape design.In this context, this paper carries out the research of the campus culture square landscape design through the practice of the project of Loudi Vocational and Technical College culture square. In the study, with the help of environmental psychology and design semiotics theory, through the research of current theory achievement, the autor participated in the whole project construction process and carried out the used effect by using the experience and research after two years of the completion of the project. Through the research, the paper analyzes the problem of the square landscape design which needs to solve, as well as the design methods and principles. Through the practice of the project, the paper puts forward some views of how to embody the cultural temperament and connotation of the campus in the aspect of multi-level space, multi function road, multi-form green,core of landscape and detail design, providing some useful reference andtheoretical basis for the future design of landscape of campus square and other landscape design and construction.
