The development of Building Information Model has a huge impact on Construction area since 1970 s in the world.China fell behind in study BIM technology from other countries,and we had not promoted BIM to all the fields until now.Spherical reinforced concrete shell has many advantages including the excellent mechanical properties,architectural appearance,high space utilization which other structures cannot get.The difficulty exists in template construction has been overcome benefited from the development of inflatable membrane template technology and shotcrete technology,and the various finite element software helps designers to verify the structure of the force problem,which makes the method of layout become much more important.If the method of layout can be considered during the reinforcement design process,the designer can get a reinforcement program covers the location of the reinforcement information,and the actual amount of steel will be highly reduced.Combined with BIM technology in the visual design and construction schedule simulation,the author can create a complete set of reinforcement design method,which will change the traditional two-dimensional method of reinforcement design.By using the advantages of object-oriented programming in C#,the author programs on Microsoft Visual Studio for secondary development on Revit,which contains some other self-developed program.Hoping the paper can take a step of changing the method of reinforcement design.
