The rapid development of smart home has brought convenience to people's life.However,due to the differences in interfaces,communication protocols and data formats of products from different suppliers,the compatibility issue between these devices is quite prominent.In addition,the means of equipment management and monitoring of these suppliers also are independent.So it seriously increases the learning cost of end-user and affects the user experience level when the products of multiple suppliers coexist in the system.According to the above problems,this thesis discusses the end-user-oriented device management and monitoring,which based on the smart home gateway designed by our research group.The purpose of our work is to provide users a simple,unified management and monitoring of equipment,and to simplify the operating process of home equipment management and monitoring by end-user,reduce the learning cost,and enhance the level of end-user experience.Firstly,on the basis of analyzing the current popular human-computer interaction methods and combining with the description and requirements of conventional intelligent home application scenarios,the overall design scheme of end-user-oriented equipment management and monitoring is proposed,then the design task of this thesis is determined.Secondly,by analyzing the device access and data interaction characteristics,the thesis proposes the descriptions of application scenarios,device connection and communication of intelligent home system,and designs a configurable device management scheme based on these descriptions.On the one hand,we use the LuCI architecture configuration file to store the scenario and device description information,and make it highly consistent with the OpenWrt system configuration scheme.On the other hand,the device management is visualized for the end-user,so that the end-user can configure the device's location,access and other properties without knowing the details of the device in advance.Thirdly,based on the smart home gateway and data communication requirements of smart home devices,and the needs of end-user for equipment monitoring,the thesis designs a multilevel data format conversion to realize the consistency of end-users' monitoring of smart home devices.On the one hand,a two-way data format conversion and transfer mechanism between gateway and device is designed by using scenario and device configuration information,and it is implemented by mixed programming of Lua and C.On the other hand,the environment data is divided into continuous data and discrete data,so it can be presented in different ways.In addition,in order to transfer the date between the system and the external management server,JSON is adopted to normalize the data transfer between gateway and server,so as to support remote management and monitoring of smart home.Finally,based on the home gateway with MT7628 developed by our research group,the ZigBee module used to simulate the intelligent device node and the intelligent home application scene is constructed.We test the whole process of equipment management and monitoring,and the results show that the end-user can implement the management and monitoring of equipment without knowing the specific details of the equipment in advance.That is to say the feasibility of the scheme proposed in this thesis is verified.
