With the continuous increase of power demand,various advanced technologies have been used into substations to make them more informative,intelligent and comprehensive,which brings new challenges to the daily operation and maintenance of substation workers.Therefore,the training for electric power employees should adopt with the new generation methods of intelligent substation to help them study the new structure of technology.Considering the safety factors,there are many operations that are not applicable in real relay protection equipment in the actual operation of the power system.It will result to the group unenlightened of the principle and mechanism of the operation,it is also hard to understand the normal operation steps and accident handling methods.The correct operation cannot be made in time when the fault occurs,it will leave some hidden hazard to safety operation of the substation.The development of virtual reality technology provides a new idea for substation group training.As for the problems faced in the intelligent substation training process,this paper proposes a method to construct a visual smart substation training simulation platform.The main contents are the following:(1)By constructing a substation secondary equipment modeling platform to build relay protection device models,using the method of path chain between sources and flows to obtain the network topology structure between the internal circuit components of the protection device,and designing a variety of sources for the system to text the circuit.The logic-value unified method is used to simulate the relay protection device.(2)By constructing the intelligent substation secondary system simulation training configuration platform,combined with the power grid simulation modeling platform,the manual configuration and automatic generation of two methods are used to realize the information association between the grid data and the substation secondary equipment,and complete the data exchange between the primary system and the secondary system.(3)Establishing the virtual reality scene of the secondary system control room of the substation as the front-end interface,establishing the communication network between the virtual scene and the two-dimensional simulation platform,and using virtual reality technology to make the complex logic inside the intelligent substation into a three-dimensional image help restore the real scene of the substation work as much as possible,and to simulate the operation details of the daily maintenance and maintaining the work of the team members in realizing the visual simulation training of the substation.In order to introduce the simulation training process of the visual intelligent substation training simulation platform in detail,this paper takes the operation process of the line protection device as an example to carry out the visual simulation training demonstration.The PSL-603 U series line protection model is built and applied to the power network.By setting the line fault for rapid distance relay protection,current differential protection and zero sequence relay protection,the accuracy of the protections action of the relay protection equipment in the analysis system is verified.Furthermore,this feasibility and practicality test for the whole process of substation team training can be finished.
