As the core component of the power system,the substation plays a significant role in the safe and stable operation of the power system.The particularity of the power system determines that random power outages are not allowed during the on-site operation training.However,traditional follow-up training in substations has the problems of long training cycle,low training efficiency,relatively difficult training personnel organization,and poor operability.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to develop a simulation training system close to the actual operating conditions of the substation.After analyzing the functional requirements of the virtual reality simulation system of the substation through on-site investigation and consulting data,taking a220 k V substation in Henan Province as a prototype,the system functional architecture and system development route were designed.Choosing 3ds Max for threedimensional modeling,a three-dimensional model of substation equipment and station structure to restore the overall layout of the substation to a certain scale is established,and optimize the memory of the three-dimensional model.Using the box modeling method to build 3D models for the characters,and add bone objects to the character model.Then bind the bone object to the character model by skinning and adjust the envelope and vertex weights.Choosing Unity3 D to design the virtual reality substation simulation system,the substation model made in 3ds Max is imported into Unity3 D to optimize the scene,make the terrain environment where the substation is located,add a sky box and add collision bodies to the objects in the station and then optimize the virtual environment.using the user interaction interface of the GUI development system in Unity3 D to make the user’s registration login interface,the main menu and the lower-level menu.Using first-person character controllers and scripts,roaming patrol function is realized.Making cognitive learning functions for main transformers,circuit breakers and isolating switches,the structure and principles of the main primary equipment in the station is demonstrated.Developing an operation exercise module,the process of switching operations is demonstrated.Using particle system combined with script development to set up an accident and fault simulation module,common accidents,faults and equipment defects in substations is simulated.Setting up a staff assessment module to supervise,evaluate and promote the learning of students.Finally,the HTC Vive virtual reality head-mounted display is used as a hardware platform for virtual reality simulation to achieve an immersive virtual reality experience.This substation virtual reality simulation system contains a complete substation scene,integrating functions such as roaming inspections,cognitive learning,operation drills,accident and fault simulation,and personnel assessment.It has the advantages of small investment,high reduction,good scalability,high interest,easy operation,etc.It basically meets some basic functional requirements of substation training and teaching,and can complement the traditional training method of substation follow-up learning.And it provides some new explorations and ideas for power system training.The system is not only suitable for the training of substation staff,but also for the teaching of electrical engineering in colleges and universities,and has a good application prospect. |
