With the continuous advancement of offshore drilling and development technology,drilling operations continue to expand into deep water areas.In recent years,the design and construction technology of floating drilling platforms has developed rapidly.The mud system is an important part of the high value-added floating drilling platform operating in the deep sea area and in harsh environments.The rationality,safety and reliability of the design are particularly important.This paper takes the floating drilling platform mud system design as the research object,takes the design and construction requirements of offshore products as the starting point,draws on the research results of the predecessors,and relies on a type of 3000 m working water depth,10000 m drilling depth floating drilling platform,system.The summary of the mud system design elements,the main results are as follows:Firstly,through the comparison of theoretical estimation and ship type parameters,the basic parameters of the design of the mud system are reasonably selected,including: mud circulation parameters and volume selection of the relevant medium storage tank of the mud system;based on the functional requirements of the mud process,the mud equipment selection is rationally carried out.Secondly,study the overall layout of the floating drilling platform,study the main points of the mud system layout,master the division principle of the mud system,and master the layout method between the mud equipment.Thirdly,study the hazards of dangerous gases carried in mud,study dangerous gas monitoring methods,master the design method of mud dangerous gas monitoring and alarming;study the operation control requirements of mud system,study the reasonable planning process control path,and master the design method of mud system control monitoring.In addition,in-depth study of high-pressure mud pipeline system design requirements,high-pressure pipe attachment selection points,high-pressure pipeline stress analysis methods and CASAR II software for verification,master the design of high-pressure mud pipeline.Finally,the HAZOP analysis method is studied,and the typical risk points and solutions are proposed in combination with the floating drilling platform mud system,which provides a technical reference for the design of the mud system.
