At present,civil aviation of China is in a period of vigorous development.With the continuous increase amounts of aircraft,flight delays or cancellations due to mechanical failures are increasing.Majority of civil aviation maintenance companies have low efficiency in dealing with sudden failures.There are shortcomings in the diagnosis and removal of failures.The purpose of this paper is to analyze troubleshooting process of E airline’s aircraft and improve the inefficient process which is found.Firstly,based on the flow chart of E company’s aircraft troubleshooting,then finds out the problems existing in the process by case analysis.After that the original fault processing process is modeled by Petri net,and the rationality of the model is verified according to the correlation matrix and invariant property of Petri net.The original process is optimized by the method of correlation matrix reorganization and business process reorganization,and the optimized process is modeled by Petri net.Tina software is used to simulate the model assignment in origin and after optimization,and the simulation results are analyzed and compared to prove the effectiveness of process optimization.At the same time,according to the simulation results,the contribution value of optimization to eachprocess participant is calculated.Finally,based on the simulation results,some management improvement suggestions are put forward for E airline fault handling process.According to this paper,the optimized fault treatment process can not only greatly improve the response efficiency of E company for sudden failure treatment,but also provide reference for other maintenance enterprises in civil aviation industry through business process modeling and optimization method of correlation matrix reorganization.
