Cars have become a common means of transportation,entering millions of homes,car door hinge assembly is the important part in realizing using functions,related to the comfort of the door use,the reliability of the door use,door seal performance,and the switching performance of the door lock.In addition to meeting the functional requirements of the door,the design of the door hinge also needs to consider the performance requirements such as strength,stiffness,and door sinking.At the same time,it is also necessary to consider whether the installation and adjustment are convenient,whether it meets the requirements of regulations,modeling,and human-machine engineering.The purpose of this paper is to make the door hinge design systematic,scientific,rigorous and correct the design of door hinge.Through the design process and technical standards,using engineering feasible methods for detailed design.Firstly,the layout of the door hinge is studied.The layout of the hinge should consider the shape of the car,the assembly process of the door,the adjustment process,the need for hinge fastening bolts,the installation space of the installation tool and the installation method.In this paper,the strength of the door hinge is calculated by the force of the door hinge,and the horizontal and longitudinal limit conditions of the door hinge are simulated by means of CAE simulation method.The stress and strain of the hinge under the limit condition are calculated.After the related test is completed,the test results are recorded and compared with the simulation results,and the differences are found according to the corresponding data.The reasons for the large differences are analyzed.It can be seen from the simulation results that the maximum stress of the upper and lower hinges of the door is less than the yield limit of the corresponding material,and the maximum equivalent plastic strain is less than the fracture elongation of the corresponding material.The simulation results are basically consistent with the experimental results.This paper provides effective and feasible theoretical guidance for the design and development of door hinges,and also provides reference for the design of door hinges of SUV and other models.
