Research On Smart Home Designs Based On Emotional Needs Of Solitary Women

Simone de Beauvoir,a French thinker and writer,is a well-known initiator of feminism.She once pointed out that "it is generally believed that men have created the history of women".Therefore,in the design of home space,few people consider the design of home space for women living alone from the perspective of feminism,resulting in designers often lack sufficient attention to the particularity of home space for women living alone and blindly create common space.Based on Donald A.Norman’s emotional design theory,the author divided the emotional needs of solitary women in smart home designs,including instinct,behavior and reflection.Then,according to the division of emotional needs of solitary women,the author analyzed from three angles of spatial function,visual elements and connotation.Firstly,the needs of solitary women are analyzed from the perspective of senses,and then they are induced to produce some kind of spiritual resonance and stimulate their inner emotions.These sensory factors include color,lightingand appearance,etc.Secondly,according to the emotional needs of women living alone,a multifunctional and safe smart home environment will be created for them to stimulate women’s sense of security and pleasure when living alone.The last is to create a unique home environment.Through set up scenes of cultural feeling or specific meaning,a comfortable and natural functional smart home environment is created for solitary women.The concept of people-oriented is adhered to.Considering from the perspective of solitary women,the smart home environment is continuously improved.Finally,a smart home environment with both cultural flavor and cultural background is created for solitary women.The solitary women can release their nature,return to nature,fully enjoy the satisfaction brought by living and living environment,maximize the potential for women,promote their self-improvement and win the recognition of solitary women for smart home designs.On the basis of smart home design and from the perspective of solitary women,this paper integrates their emotional needs into smart home design and completes the innovation of smart home designs.At the same time,it comprehensively analyzes the emotionalexpression and spiritual needs of solitary women and divides the emotional needs of solitary women into multiple angles,which provides theoretical basis of smart home design.After deeply discussing the emotional needs of solitary women for smart home environment,the research and expression forms into smart home designs have been further enriched.On the basis of existing research,innovations have been made to perfect the concept of smart home designs,so that smart home can meet the emotional needs of women living alone and enhance the recognition of social status and self-identity of women living alone.
