Schedule Management Of Development Project Of UG4 Engine Control Unit

The booming of China’s automotive industry and the increasing demand for vehicle personalization have triggered the fierce competition among OEMs.Accordingly,the matching accessory factories are required by OEMs to delivery new development components under quality and quantity assured.Even sometimes it’s required to complete projects ahead of time.Based on the project management system of a company where the author works,using theories and methods of project progress controlling,this thesis makes a comprehensive analysis on the R&D projects on the field of automobile Engine Control Unit(ECU).It also utilizes methods of optimizing project planning as well as progress tracking and controlling to ensure the realization of project goal and a smooth start of product series production.In this thesis,progress management methods are used to decompose a project into detailed and systematic WBS(Work Breakdown Structure).Responsible stakeholders are assigned to corresponding tasks in a reasonable way,the sequence among tasks is explicit,working hour is settled down,node parameters of the project network is calculated and project network diagram is created.Through the analysis of the key path of a project,optimization methods are available to decrease the time of critical path and parallel tasks,therefore,shorten the project period.Also,at the end of the thesis,a progress controlling program for ECU development projects is designed.Through tracking and controlling,a successful closure for ECU development project is guaranteed...
