The Design Of Leisure Farms Adjacent To The Sites

In recent years,more than 160 ruins of ancient cities and towns and more than 5,200 cultural sites have been discovered in Hunan Province.Most of the sites are located in the countryside.In this current year,The document No.1 issued by the Central government has clarified the overall requirements and major tasks for the implementation of rural revitalization.The potential for development of the tourism industry today is increasingly impressive.The author has conducted his research on the design of recreational farms in the vicinity of cultural heritage sites.The main results are as follows:(1)A field survey has been conducted on some representative leisure farms in Hunan Province,bringing to the conclusion that the leisure farms generally suffer lack of design themes,serious landscape homogenization,unreasonable functional space distribution,and weak ecological issues.;In relation to the above mentioned deficiencies,the author suggests corresponding solutions for improvements.(2)Field surveys on the site of tourism projects in rural areas in Hunan Province have found that there are not enough cultural elements in the culture site landscape design;the sense of participating and experiencing is not good enough;the local features are not clear;In relation to these issues,the author has executed a comprehensive analysis and has proposed that a series of solutions,pointing out that the culture sites in rural areas should not only be protected by mechanical and simple measures,but also with raw agricultural resources(fields,forests,water bodies,etc.)developed and integrated effectively in the surrounding countryside.Only in this way a distinctive farm management model can be formed,combined with the cultural and historical resources such as relics and architectural elements of culture sites.(3)The design of leisure farms in the vicinity of the culture sites should follow the design principles of protection,culture,aesthetics and function,and grasp the common goal of sites protection and the rural revitalization.Take the cultivation of farming culture as the main feature,the author puts forward “5 P” theory,including “Protection of culture site situation,Protection of culture and history,Protection of folklore industry,Production of agricultural products,Prosperity of local economy” to guide the construction of leisure farm in the vicinity of the culture sites;(4)Based on the above theories,the design of Gusuorenjia Leisure Farm in Dingcheng District of Changde City was completed,with the theme of “warranty consistent,sustainable development”,and under the principle of “intermediary” protection.The structure of “two axes” “three zones” and "multiple districts" was formed in the whole farm,and the whole farm was divided into Chu-Han dynasty historical and cultural experience area,archeological activity experience area,folk custom experience area,agricultural experience area,landscape leisure area and core reception area,etc.reflecting the close relationship between the leisure farm and the adjacent culture sites,also realizing the expression of the site culture in the design of leisure farms.The design of leisure farms in the vicinity of the culture sites should be based on the background of adjoining the culture site and relying on the natural resources of the rural areas,and on the theme of site culture and farming culture,to create a way to maintain the preservation of rural sites,rural ecological environment,and folk customs.A new model with multiple functions,such as maintaining agricultural production and realizing rural economic development will be created to realize the characteristics and advantages of this farm.
