ANSYS is a large-scale general-purpose finite element analysis software commonly used in ship industry,which is often used in the analysis and calculation of ship hull structure.Besides,ANSYS has powerful modeling ability,solving ability,non-linear analysis ability,meshing ability and so on.But ANSYS runs on the PC and requires higher performance of the CPU which make it inconvenient to check the calculation results of the model at any time.On the other hand,the traditional method of checking calculation instructions is tedious and inefficient.With the improvement of the performance of mobile devices and the popularity of applications,it is possible to display model results on the mobile devices.Therefore,it is necessary and practical to transplant the viewing function of ANSYS to the mobile devices.Then,the ship engineers can view the computing cloud of the structure at any anytime and anywhere.The software of finite element post-processing consists of client and server.The client is Android mobile phone,which can be used to view model results and interact with scenes.The The server is a working computer with ANSYS.The model data extracting program written in APDL language is used to extract the resulting data of the model in ANSYS,and then the resulting file is transmitted to the client through TCP/IP protocol.The client software reads the data of resultint file and uses OpenGL ES technology to render the model view,which can realize the function of checking cloud images in different scenarios.Firstly,the demand analysis of the software is carried out,which makes it clear that the functions of the software include file transfer,cloud chart view,and model operations.Then the structure design and function module design of the software are carried out.The software is divided into four functional modules: object display module,data processing module,network communication module and interface interaction module.At last,the realization of the software function module is described in detail,and the function of the software and the display effect of cloud image are tested.The test results indicate that the functions and view effects of the software is satisfied the expect requirement basically.Users can use this software to view the node and element results of hull structure,and can choose different components to compose the hull parts that they want to view independently.In the specific resultint cloud chart,users can view the maximum and minimum of the cloud chart,and know the stress distribution of the model through the color bar.In the view window,they can move the model using the single-finger and zoom the model using the double-finger and control the rotation and restoration of the model through the button.
