The hydraulic roller compacted asphalt concrete engineering mainly includes face plate and core wall engineering, which needs to meet the performance requirements of anti-seepage,deformation,high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, durability and so on.There are many performance indexes to evaluate asphalt concrete, among which water stability is an important one that affects the durability of asphalt concrete.Currently,in seawater hydraulic asphalt building project gradually, but for hydraulic asphalt in sea water research at the start of the stability of the affected less,so the stability of seawater under asphalt not only the development and application of an important theoretical value, but also of great importance. In this paper, the influence of mix ratio parameters on water stability and the variation of water stability of hydraulic asphalt concrete in marine environment are studied. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Through orthogonal test design, the influence of mix ratio parameters on the water stability of asphalt concrete was analyzed. The results showed that the degree of influence of water stability coefficient from large to small was gradation index, filler content, and asphalt ratio.Considering the influence of strain index on water stability, the strain and stress coefficient are analyzed, and th e factors that affect the water stability coefficient are the oil-stone ratio, gradation index and the amount of filler.(2)Study the water stability of asphalt concrete under the condition of ordinary seawater concentration. The test results show that the compressive strength first decreases, then increases, and then decreases. The variation trend of water stability coefficient is the same as the compressive strength.(3)The effects of different sea water concentrations on water stability were studied. The samples were tested under the conditions of 1,3 and 5 times sea water concentration respectively. The water stability coefficient of the samples showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.(4)The effect of immersion time in seawater on the water stability of asphalt concrete was studied. The test results showed that the strain of 450h immersion was 5.998%and the water stability coefficient was 0.885.With the extension of soaking time, the compressive strength increases first and then decreases, and the strain decreases all the time, but from 150h to 225h the strain decreases from 8.722%to 7.122%,with a large decrease range. The results of water stability test show that the water stability of asphalt concrete under seawater environment is significantly affected.According to the experimental study,it can provide a reference for improving the water stability of asphalt concrete in the marine environment, and help to improve the quality of the project and expand the benefits of the project.
