The expressway is the main artery of economic development.At present,China's highway mileage has been ranked first in the world.Expressways have obvious advantages in terms of transportation costs and capacity,and have a positive effect in stimulating economic development along the route.Especially in the new situation where the value of expressways is becoming more and more prominent,the traffic safety pressure of highways in China is also increasing day by day.In particular,the current increase in car ownership in China has made the security situation of expressways more severe.According to the statistics of the Ministry of Public Security,although the incidence of traffic accidents in China has declined significantly in recent years,the number of traffic accidents and deaths still ranks high in the world.The traffic safety situation is further deteriorating,and the traffic violations are becoming more prominent.The number of traffic accidents caused by this has also increased.Especially on the expressway,traffic violations are becoming more and more common.Therefore,the law of highway accidents is judged.Characteristics,in-depth analysis of various factors affecting traffic safety during the development of expressways,maintaining safe and efficient traffic environment for highways,providing a scientific theoretical basis for accident prevention,and current road traffic safety management is urgent.This paper uses statistical analysis method,system clustering method,K-means clustering method,factor molecular method and other research methods to carry out research.Firstly,the concepts and overviews of highway traffic accidents,including the concept of traffic accidents,the components of highway traffic accidents and the causes of highway traffic accidents.Secondly,the rules and main features of highway traffic accidents in Hebei Province are analyzed,including The overall situation of highway traffic accidents in Hebei Province,the characteristics of highway traffic accidents in Hebei Province and the highway traffic accidents in Hebei Province;again,empirical analysis of the external environmental factors of highway traffic accidents,the study found that the accident occurred mainly Due to the influence of nighttime time,driver's driving age and illegal driving of large vehicles,the countermeasures for highway traffic accident prevention were proposed,including strengthening the management of traffic participants,strengthening key vehicle management,and strengthening the management of accident-prone road sections.
