Beijing Traditional Tourism Crafts Innovative Design Research

Beijing traditional handicraft contains the wisdom of Beijing people which are accumulated in the development of Beijing's history.It is also a representative of the the court and folk culture.With the developing in industrial mass production,the traditional handicraft in Beijing shows a trend of depression due to the popularity of modern creative arts and crafts.The Beijing traditional handicraft gradually loses the interest of consumers.To promote the development of traditional arts and crafts in Beijing,Chinese government and the people who love the traditional culture are working to find a way to continue the traditional handicrafts process.This article based on traditional crafts in Beijing,through research and analysis methods to summary design characteristics of Beijing traditional handicraft,to find out the way to make Beijing traditional tourism handicraft innovating and developing and Try to put forward valuable advice for the continuation of traditional crafts.This article consists of five chapters.The first chapter expounds the research condition on Beijing traditional handicraft and show the domestic and foreign research status of traditional tourist crafts.The second chapter elaborates on the concept of traditional crafts and discusses the value and development of traditional handicrafts,then putting forward to the research direction on combining traditional craft with tourism commodities.The third chapter uses the example of cloisonne and Beijing northwest shadow play.It expounds the artistic features of the traditional handicraft in Beijing through the study of form,technology,patterns and themes to find the characteristics of Beijing traditional arts and crafts.In the fourth chapter,the author presents the innovative design method which based on the particularity of Beijing traditional handicraft and the design principle of tourism commodities and expatiates the innovative design method of Beijing traditional tourist crafts.The fifth chapter combines with the analysis and the summary of the above chapters and takes Beijing shadow as two examples to achieve innovative design practicing.
