Study On Safety Management Improvement In Maintenance Department Of A Airline

Safety is the eternal theme of civil aviation development,aircraft maintenance,as a basic component of civil aviation production,is an important prerequisite and guarantee for restoring and maintaining the safe flight of aircraft,the quality of maintenance work has a great impact on the safe operation of aircraft,and maintenance errors have become an important link in the aviation accident chain.At present,China’s civil aviation system adopts the safety management system(SMS)advocated by the international civil aviation organization(ICAO)in the global civil aviation industry.Its essence is to establish and implement the system,comprehensive safety risk management and safety basic operation system.The construction and implementation of safety management system is of great significance to the realization of safety systematic management.This paper takes A airline Maintenance Department as the research object,makes a detailed analysis of the current situation of the safety management system construction of A airline Maintenance Department.This paper analyses the construction of safety management system in maintenance department of A airline from four aspects: safety policy,risk management,safety assurance and safety promotion,and according to its safety situation,the typical maintenance error cases of maintenance department are analyzed.The REASON model is used to mine the defects of organization and management in maintenance error,and then the problems in safety management of maintenance department of A airline are pointed out,such as the reporting mechanism of safety information is not perfect,the risk management is not standardized,the setting of safety performance indicators is unreasonable,and the construction of safety culture is not in place.Finally,through the analysis of the causes of the problem,combined with the actual operation of A Airlines Maintenance Department,the improvement plan is put forward from four aspects: improving safety information reporting system,standardizing risk management,optimize safety performance indicators and strengthening safety culture construction,in order to improve its safety management level.The purpose of this paper is to improve the shortcomings of safety management in maintenance department of A airline,move forward the safety barrier.Through effective implementation of safety management measures to reduce the occurrence of maintenance errors,reduce the risk of aircraft operation to improve the quality of air transport,make A airline get a better reputation in the civil aviation industry,enhance the competitiveness of the company in the civil aviation industry.In addition,I hope that this study can provide reference for the safety management of other airlines and promote the rapid and steady development of China’s civil aviation industry.
