As a fundamental support platform for a strong smart grid and an important carrier for the full realization of energy Internet +,the regional power communication system plays an increasingly important role in ensuring the safe operation of power grids,market management and modern management of power grids,and thus scientifically and reasonably Planning of regional power communication system to meet the development needs of smart grid era is crucial.This paper describes the status quo of transmission network,service network and support network in the regional power communication system,analyzes the main problems existing in the existing communication system,and identifies the weak links in the existing systems.At the same time,it introduces the situation of the existing power communication system in the era of smart grid,the requirements of other secondary power systems for its development,the characteristics of service demands and the use of traffic prediction models to measure the future business traffic.Combined with the development goals of regional inter-provincial OTN,regional backbone SDH dual-plane,regional IMS administrative core network and access network,and the development requirements of the communication management system information platform,the planning objectives and principles of the transmission network,service network,and support network are established.Finally,in accordance with the planning objectives and principles,combined with the main needs of the expansion of the bandwidth of the scheduling data network,the construction of a special network for system protection,planning and design of the existing regional power system.
