With the development of society, the traditional power grid has been difficult to meet the needs about power resource of the people. The conversion from traditional grid to smart grid has become the inevitable trend of the power grid development. The innovation of grid technology is urgently needed. Traditional power grid uses a unidirectional communication technology which transmit from power plant to user. Traditional power grid cannot satisfy the information exchange requirements with the electric power network, electric power market and users. Compared to the traditional communication technology, the bidirectional communication technology has a large communication capacity, fast information exchange, small delay, simple structure and appropriate price. Through the interaction between nodes, the communication network could be greater, wider and more flexible.This paper studies bidirectional communication problems under wired and wireless conditions in smart grid. This paper builds a bidirectional communication system in smart grid and realizes the information exchange of electric power resources and users. The main work of this paper is as follows:According to the existing application of network coding in wireless sensor networks, this paper proposes a network coding technology based on delay controlled mechanism in the smart grid bidirectional communication system. The network coding technology based on delay controlled mechanism considers factors such as the data generation rate, the additional time delay, the packet number of network coding and network throughput and uses delay controlled mechanisms to implement network coding. It can achieve good timing control, improve network throughput, balance network load and improve network bandwidth utilization so as to effective against the impact on network links of the network link and node failures, improve the robustness of the network link, reduce the overhead of network management and increase the security of transmission.This paper designed and implemented a Web service software based on MVC model for the bidirectional communication system in smart grid, including functions such as socket communication, data statistics and graphics visualization. Users can log in to the website by any computer and realize the information exchange between electric power resources and users. Web service uses B/S architecture and combines J2EE technology and MVC design model to achieve the separation of control, views and models. It could improve the hierarchical structure of the system easily, achieve good reusability of code and realize the data representation of multiple view.
