The Pilot Of National Park System Influences Ecological Protection Behavior Intention Of Community Residents | | Posted on:2020-01-28 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:N J Duan | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2392330590986749 | Subject:Tourism geography | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | With the establishment of the national park pilot,the national park system pilot areas began to integrate the management authority of the protected areas to implement unified management and set up the National Park Administration to manage national park.The primary task of the National Park is to delineate the ecological red line of the protected area and implement overall ecological protection.However,it is very hard to implement ecological protection,if the community residents don’t participate in national park construction.The study selected Hunan Nanshan National Park and the Fujian Wuyishan National Park Gateway community and common community as the research object.To studied the influence of community residents on the national park pilot and local identity on their ecological protection behavior intentions.Based on the previous research results,the research model of community residents’ ecological protection behavior intention is constructed.First-hand research data was obtained by issuing questionnaires in Hunan Nanshan National Park and the Fujian Wuyishan National Park.The data was analyzed with SPSS20.0 and AMOS21.0 software to verify the research hypothesis.The mathematical statistics method was used to compare the data of the two national park pilot areas in Hunan Nanshan National Park and Fujian Wuyishan National Park.To analyzed the different of national park Gateway community and common community.Solve the contradiction between ecological protection and community development.The model proves that the system of national park has a positive impact on the local identity of community residents,and has no significant impact on the community residents’ ecological protection behavior intentions.However,its mediating effect is significant.Local identity as a mediator variable has a positive correlation with the ecological protection behavior attitude and ecological protection behavior intention.The community residents’ ecological protection behavior attitude,ecological protection subjective norm and ecological protection perception behavior control have a significant positive correlation with the ecological protection behavior intention.It is prove that the planning behavior theory is applicable to research the impact of national park pilot on the community residents’ ecological protection behavior intention.At the same time,demographic characteristics such as the cultural level,monthly average income and income sources of community residents will have significant impact on their ecological protection behavior intentions.Through mathematical statistics analysis,factors such as different stages of tourism development and unbalanced development of community tourism have an impact on the ecological protection behavior intentions of community residents.Therefore,the study proposes to strengthen the propaganda of the national park concept.Encouraging community residents to participate in the national park system pilot ecological protection action.Developing differentiated community tourism development strategies.Improving the national park ecological compensation mechanism,and keeping the balance between national park ecological benefits and community residents’ economic interests’ development. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | National Park, Community Residents, Local Identity, Ecological Protection Behavior intention | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
