As the skeleton of car's body,the automobile structural parts mainly play a role in the vehicle body structure.For the design of automotive structural parts progressive die,there are currently shortcomings such as complex mold structure,wide design knowledge and long design cycle.In the traditional manual design mode,the design process is complex and inefficient.After the CAD technology is assisted to the mold design,the design efficiency of the progressive die is improved to some extent.However,there are still some shortcomings for some specific progressive die designs,and there are problems such as customization and lack of intelligence.It is practical to have a design system for a specific mold type.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the blanking progressive die structure and the design process specification of the existing automotive structural parts,combined with the enterprise design experience,the design system is divided into modules,and each module is determined based on the modular design idea.Features.In the design process of the system,several intelligent design methods are mainly used.Using the progressive parameter global parameterization management method,the data information in the blanking progressive die design process is managed from three aspects: data definition,query and storage;using parameter-driven templated modeling method,combined with blanking level Based on the principle of design and design,the template library of the mold base and components is designed to realize the rapid creation of the mold base and components.On the basis of intelligent design,the decision-making method based on human-computer interaction is used to realize the rapid design of the components.Based on the above methods,this paper uses the NX OPEN API for development.Based on the NX 8.0 platform,the development of the blanking progressive die design system for automotive structural parts is completed.The main functions include: selecting the layout and analyzing the layout.Infer the size of the appropriate formwork and introduce the parametric formwork;select the punching or trimming features,feature analysis,and realize the rapid design of the punching and trimming components;select the punching line to realize the blanking chute of the punching area Rapid layout and design;designing appropriate nitrogen cylinder layout algorithm and rib layout algorithm to solve the problem of nitrogen cylinder eccentric load and rib reinforcement and other structure conflicts in the design process,realizing the reinforcement of the nitrogen cylinder and the lower mold base The rapid layout of the design,while the user can adjust the design results in real time.In the case test,the design requirements are basically met,and the design cycle of the blanking level progressive die is effectively shortened.
