Spiral bevel gear is an important part of variously mechanical equipment.With low noise,high strength,bearing some good characteristics of large capacity,spiral bevel gear is widely used.With the rapid development of industrial technology,the requirement for strength of spiral bevel gear is increasing.Therefore,a perfect of design theory and processing method of high strength spiral bevel gear is urgently needed in the industry.Firstly,non-zero positive transmission technology,local synthesis method and tooth contact analysis(TCA)technology are organically integrated,and the method of geometric design and processing parameter design for high strength spiral bevel gear is studied in this paper.Secondly,the three-dimensional modeling is built by using UG10.0.Then the finite element strength analysis is carried out by using ABAQUS.Finally,the milling experiment is carried out.The main research contents of this paper are as follows.1.The geometric design method of spiral bevel gear by using non-zero positive transmission is studied.Based on the principle of non-zero modification of spiral bevel gear and the requirement of different high performance parameter,such as high strength,high speed,low noise and low wear,the modification coefficient of spiral bevel gear is selected,thus the calculation of all geometric parameter is further completed.2.The processing parameter design and tooth contact analysis of non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear is studied.Based on the geometric design of non-zero modification,the design of processing parameter of non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear is completed,and TCA analysis is carried out.TCA is a simulation tool to verify the validity of processing parameter.According to the results of TCA,the modification coefficient and processing parameter of gear pairs are corrected by feedback,so that the gear pairs have good tooth contact.3.Three-dimensional modeling of non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear and finite element analysis are completed.Based on the geometric parameter of the blank and the processing parameter of the tooth surface of non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear,the coordinate system of machine tool machining is established,which fully reflect the processing of the real tooth surface in theory.The tooth surface equation is deduced from the cutter's cutting surface equation by coordinate transformation,and the tooth surface is discretized to get the point cloud data file of the tooth surface.Then the three-dimensional modeling of non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear is completed by UG10.0 three-dimensional software.Comparing the non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear design with the conventional spiral bevel gear design to analyze the stress distribution of tooth surfaces by importing to finite element software ABAQUS.4.The machining experiment of digital design of non-zero positive transmission spiral bevel gear is completed.Using accurate processing parameter of spiral bevel gear adjust machine tool and cutter to complete machining experiment.The experimental results show that the gear design method of non-zero positive transmission technology is feasible and effective.
