Shipbuilding Enterprise Competitiveness Evaluation Index And Empirical Research

This paper takes China’s major shipbuilding enterprises as the research object,and comprehensive grey theory,cluster analysis,correlation analysis and index compilation method,and carries out the competitiveness index of China’s shipbuilding enterprises from five aspects: profit,growth,production,operation and scale.According to the results of index evaluation and empirical analysis,the countermeasures and suggestions for the improving of the competitiveness of China’s shipbuilding enterprises are given.(1)Applying the index evaluation method to the competitiveness evaluation of China’s shipbuilding enterprises,combined with the literature analysis to construct the shipbuilding enterprise competitiveness evaluation index system and index calculation model,using the norm gray relation method to empower the index system,and get the competitiveness index of China’s shipbuilding enterprises.(2)Using the index evaluation model to conduct empirical analysis on China’s major shipbuilding enterprises,calculate the shipbuilding enterprise competitiveness comprehensive index,profit index,growth index,production index,business index and scale index,and analyze the correlation between each competitiveness index.Using SPSS19.0 to systematically cluster and analyze the competitiveness index of China’s shipbuilding enterprises in 2017,and get the overall situation of China’s shipbuilding enterprises in 2017.In addition,research and analysis of the changes in the competitiveness index of shipbuilding enterprises during the five years from 2013 to 2017.(3)According to the results of the correlation analysis,it is found that the comprehensive index and the profit index,production index,business index and scale index are significantly correlated at the 0.01 level(two sides),but have no significant correlation with the growth index;Combined with the results of comprehensive index cluster analysis,China’s shipbuilding enterprises can be roughly divided into three categories: the first category represented by Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group,NACKS and Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding.;the second category represented by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd.,Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co.,Ltd.and Guangzhou Shipyard International Co.,Ltd;the remaining companies are the third category.From the results of the trend analysis from 2013 to 2017,the comprehensive index of China’s shipbuilding enterprises’ competitiveness has bottomed out in 2016,and there has been a rebound since 2017.The volatility of the growth index is very intense,but the range of fluctuations is gradually narrowing.(4)In order to improve the overall competitiveness of China’s shipbuilding enterprises,accelerate the transformation and upgrading of China’s shipbuilding enterprises,combined with the competitiveness comprehensive index,the countermeasures and suggestions for the application of the competitiveness index of shipbuilding enterprises are given from the perspectives of shipbuilding enterprises,government departments and industry associations.At the same time,combined with the evaluation results of the competitiveness function index,relevant countermeasures are also given.
