With the increasing call for early childhood education and child care in recent years,China will also make infant care services a part of the government’s work in 2019.As an institution focusing on early child education,enterprises have taken the lead in transforming from providing whole-brain education services for infants to integrating whole-brain education and nursing services.However,providing whole brain education and nursing service simultaneously in same space will inevitably produce spatial contradictions.Secondly,these whole-brain education institutions only provide whole-brain education for infants and children on weekends,and are basically empty during weeks.From the perspective of architecture,it is necessary to meet the needs of whole-brain education and the functions of infant care in the same space,at the same time,relevant requirements of space design are put forward.To study the spatial characteristics of whole-brain education and infant care,in this paper,cases of childcare facilities in different countries and regions are selected at first to summarize and sort out their total size,functional space types,and infant activity space configuration and characteristics.Then through the real state investigation of 11 educational institutions affiliated to the enterprise,the interior space environment design,teacher-student ratio,space activities and other aspects were recorded and summarized.Meanwile more than 100 cases of Japan’s Shichida Education Centers were selected to record and analyze the activities taking place and spatial environment design during whole-brain education activities.Finally we collect and refer to the relevant standards and legal provisions of the design of childcare facilities in developed countries.Through the analysis and summary of real state research and basic data,the design regulations of infant early education and care space are formulated for enterprises,which involve design reference indexes and space and environment design requirements.And plane functional relation,three kinds of spatial patterns and spatial combination patterns,which are suitable for different conditions,are abstracted,and three kinds of templated Spaces,templated space combination examples and two kinds of spatial themes are designed.In the aspect of operation network planning,this study is based on modularization.Basis of planning layout is put forward according to the principle of public buildings’ configuration in residential and at the same time planning layout example and two basic layouts of different entrance direction are formed and designed.Through this research,the problem of spatial contradiction and weekly vacancy rate between whole-brain education on weekends and nursing service during weeks is solved,and the enterprise can make fast feedback in the future infrastructure’s construction,so as to improve work efficiency,save time and cost.With the development of the application of brain science research results in education,the cooperation between enterprises and the Ministry of Education to jointly promote the development of China’s future education,the child-care and education integration institutions in the future early childhood education will become a new trend. |
