Research On The Allocation Strategy Of Medical And Nursing Facilities For The Elderly In Urban Communities

The aging of China's population is accompanied by the characteristics of aging and empty nesting.Under the influence of inherent systems and cultural practices,it shows great demand for old-age care and medical care,poor correspondence between supply and demand,serious separation of medical care and imbalance of regional development.And so on.The existing medical and pension relationship needs to be adjusted to meet the diverse needs of the elderly?At the same time,with the gradual acceleration of residents' life rhythm,the change of travel mode,and the rapid change of the interaction time and space behavior pattern,the existing community as the basic unit of urban space presents the characteristics of enhanced spatial mobility.Community boundaries have also gradually evolved into fuzziness and integration.Therefore,it is worth exploring what kind of perspective,and what kind of urban space is the basic unit of the configuration of medical facilities.This study is based on the basic research purpose of constructing medical facilities in the living space of the elderly.While integrating medical and aged care services,we can truly realize the healthy ageing of the elderly in the community in a familiar environment.This study investigates the current status of medical and old-age facilities in some typical communities in and around Harbin,and conducts comprehensive and comprehensive research on the elderly in the community.It analyzes and summarizes the status quo of existing facilities,the needs of the elderly,and the behavioral characteristics of the elderly.After deriving the utilization of the facilities and the daily walking range of the elderly,the space unit carrier of the facility construction was first determined—the spatial extent of the community living circle for the elderly,and the circle structure was further divided.According to the individualized requirements of the layer attributes,the configuration strategy of the type and function of the facility,the scale and quantity,the location and the layout are proposed.Innovations in the thesis: introducing the concept of community life circle of the elderly and providing appropriate spatial scales for the configuration of facilities for the provision of medical care and supports for the elderly.Most researches on facility configurations in communities have some limitations.For one reason,there are neither strict definitions on the scope of spaces for these facilities nor studies on their structures.As the elderly are weak in behavior if the definition of the community size is too large,such phenomenon as corresponding differences existing between supply and demand and wastes of resources will appear;but if the definition of the community size is too small,it will influence the perfection of facilities for providing medical care and supporting the elderly.Therefore,the concept of the life circle of the elderly is introduced into the configuration of facilities for providing medical care and supporting the elderly which is hoped to provide new ideas for studies on and developments of facilities for providing medical care and supporting the elderly.
