| The old city is an important part of a city,carrying too much historical memory in a city.Under the background of China’s entry into stock planning,the research on the renewal of old cities has received more and more attention.Whether it is from the history of the study of the old city,or from the content and purpose of the study of the old city,the old city protection,how to transform the old city to adapt to the modern life,and sustainable development and renovation in the old city Full consideration of the needs of residents and make effective public participation are very important topics in the study of old cities.The Yingping area is a typical old city in Xiamen and the origin of Xiamen.In the process of continuous development of the city,it is inevitably damaged,but the overall style of the old city has been preserved.The street is the skeleton of the Yingping area.Its twisty and varied street network structure,prosperous street market and abundant street space activities show us the charm of the old city.At the same time,there are also a series of problems caused by the street scale,such as space depression,road congestion,poor street environment,affecting commercial development and affecting residents’ leisure activities.Facing with the contradiction between the old city,modern urban activities and people’s dimensions.This paper studies the street scales of the streets and lanes of Yingping area from the perspectives of the scale of the old city,the scale of modern urban activities and the scale of human beings,in order to comprehensively consider the three angles proposed for the scale of the Yingping area and provide advice for its transformation.For the study of the "scale of the old city",this paper firstly divides the development process of the street in the Yingping area into four stages according to historical data and maps,namely the embryonic stage,the forming stage,the industrial invasion stage and the old city renewal stage.According to the historical data and spatial syntax,the spatial scale characteristics and network morphological characteristics of the streets in Yingping area are analyzed,and the reasons for the formation of streets and alleys and the development history of street scales are understood.For the study of the scale of modern urban activities,In this paper,UAV photogrammetry and spatial syntax are used to quantitatively analyze the spatial scale of street and lane and the status of street network in Yingping area.At the same time,through field investigation,the current situation of street and lane utilization in Yingping area is analyzed,and then we can analyze the current situation of street scales of different types.For the study of "human scale",this paper conducts a survey on the satisfaction of residents in all the streets and its streets scale.Then it analyzes the current situation of residents’ satisfaction in different streets and different types of streets and lanes.Finally,the above three aspects of research are combined to analyze the adaptability of street scales in Yingping area in the overall pattern of street and alley,modern urban activities and human scale.Finally,based on the above three aspects of research,this paper proposes that in the reconstruction of street scales in Yingping area,the principle of protecting the overall street and street pattern of the old city,the principle of satisfying the modern living scale and the principle of human scale should be followed.Then provides suggestions for the scale reconstruction of the streets.Through the research of this paper,it enriches the perspective of the research of the street scales in old city,the adaptability and transformation strategy of the street scales are proposed,applies the drone photogrammetry to the study of urban space.It is of great significance to the sustainable development of the streets and lanes in Yingping area and the application of UAV photogrammetry in urban planning. |
