Since the Song and Yuan as Xiamen maritime tradeportal, the development of its morphology carries much history and culture in Xiamen,also witnessed the vicissitudes changes in Xiamen city for hundreds of years. Somorphology for Ying Ping Area of Xiamen owns its meaning.In the Yingping Area for hundreds of years to develop the process of evolution,too many contradictions and conflicts constitute the entire Yinping Area everyday lifeand urban spatial form. Down elitism, transition-oriented "City Rover" Benjaminsense, into the life of each one of streets of the Yingping Area. Focus on the events ofthe crowd, into the space of a day-to-day practice of social life. Grasp the mutualinfluence of the time series and the social structure, and then projected onto thespatial form of the every corner of the Yingping Area.In this paper, first with the help of historical documents and maps, introducingthe evolution of the Yingping Area. Urban morphology-based approach, depending onthe urban fabric Yingping Area is divided into4blocks, the relationship of thebackground for the3blocks different social development and changes, the formationof the system of streets and alleys, architecture and street space, macro to themicro-level step by step in-depth study of the relationship between the variouselements of mutual influence and restrict, and then fully understand the YingpingArea characteristics of the urban morphology streets structure. The physical space ofthe building streets and behind the underlying social factors combined with each otherto better interpret the evolution of the urban form of the entire the Yingping Area.Finally, these three different streets structures were analyzed to explore thedifferences of the forms and mechanisms of space. And for different neighborhoodsbuildings and street space micro-level changes, reflecting the diverse neighborhoodsof local residents living exchanges way to travel.Through this study, we can realize the formation and characteristics of thestructure of streets and alleys of the Yingping Area, explore the historical and culturalvalue Yingping Area in the the seemingly chaotic city pattern potential, build the oldcity rebuilding of compliance with urban development laws, Yingping Area for thefuture transformation of the old and updated to provide a reference; while from theperspective of the day-to-day social life with the map data collation, to some extentdemonstrated decades Yingping Area residents the social life, which for moreimportant in the analysis of the composition and development of the current the Yingping Area of social pluralism. |
