As the visual center of commercial buildings and the "transfer station" for lighting and ventilation,the existence of atrium space plays an important role in the function and physical environment of commercial buildings.At the same time,the corridor space of the commercial building atrium is a vital place for consumers to gather.The light environment of the corridor space has a very significant impact on shopping experience.However,the existing research does not provide a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the natural daylighting factors affecting the atrium corridor space of commercial buildings.Therefore,this paper investigated and analyzed the various factors affecting the atrium corridor space of the commercial atrium by investigating the commercial atrium in Xiamen,and discussed the influence of these influencing factors on the natural lighting of the commercial atrium corridor by comparing the results of natural daylighting test and computer simulation and finally come up with the corresponding design strategy of the commercial atrium.This article is composed of following aspects:First,through the investigation of the commercial building atrium in Xiamen area and the previous studies,the spatial elements affecting the natural lighting of the atrium are summarized.The research and summary conclusions show that:(1)the atriums with the rectangle plane and the H-shaped section are the most common spatial pattern in the commercial building atrium,and it is also the main research object in this paper;(2)the factors which affect the natural lighting of the atrium corridor space mainly consists of the atrium's spatial form?the enclosure of atrium and the reflectivity of the atrium material.Secondly,the field test of the natural lighting for the corridor space in three commercial buildings in Xiamen under the cloudy sky had been carried out,and the advantages and disadvantages of natural lighting in the corridor space in the three commercial atriums were quantitatively analyzed.Tests and analysis show that:(1)the corridor space in Jimei Wanda commercial building atrium has the best lighting performance;(2)under cloudy conditions,the daylight factor of commercial atrium corridor space is relatively stable for a long period of time.At the same time,the small fluctuations in the daylight factor of the corridor space have little effect on people's intuitive perception of lighting in the atrium.(3)consumers prefer the illumination of refracted light.At the same time,older people prefer natural lighting compared to young people.In addition,the author found that the subjective feelings of different genders for the atrium in the same lighting conditions are not much different.Thirdly,with the help of the sky hemisphere and scale model,The daylight effects of the width-height ratio of the atrium with a rectangular plane and H-shaped section?the width of one-sided corridor and the surface reflectivity of different materials on the natural daylighting in corridor space were discussed.The conclusions show that:(1)When other conditions are constant,the width-height ratio increases,and the daylight factor of each layer of the atrium corridor also increases,but when the width-height ratio is greater than 0.5,the growth of the daylight factor is obviously slowed down;(2)The increase of the the corridor width will lead to the decrease of the daylight factor of the corridors in each layer.When the ratio is greater than 0.4,the speed of the reduction of the daylight factor will increase remarkably.(3)The darker the color of the inner space of the atrium,the lower the daylight factor of the corridor space.Fourthly,using the daylight simulation software,author had simulated that how these effects the changes of atrium space form,enclosure form and surface reflectivity would be given rise to would affect the natural lighting of corridor space systematically.On this basis,the corresponding design strategy of commercial atrium was put forward.The simulation results show that:(1)Considering the lighting characteristics of the atrium space and the nature of commercial buildings,the rectangular plane is the best choice for atrium space;(2)when designing the atrium's section space,the priority of architects is V-shaped section space;(3)the atrium should be as high as possible to increase its aspect ratio,but should not exceed 0.5;(4)When the height of the atrium is fixed,priority should be given to increasing the floor height of the ground floor corridor and lowering the floor height of top floor corridor.At the same time,At the same time,when distributing shops,large space shops should be placed at the bottom,small space shops should be placed at the top.(5)From the perspective of the reflectivity of the atrium material,the designer should give priority to increasing the reflection of the underlying material of the atrium.Also,the color atmosphere of the commercial building atrium should not be too dark.
