The Design And Research Of Restaurant Self-service Settlement Terminal Product Based On CUBI Model

Intelligent hardware and its application scenarios have been deepening in the times of the Federation of Things.With the continuous implementation of the concept of "smart catering" and the emphasis on customer experience and intellectualized management,the intellectualized transformation of the group catering hall has been paid more and more attention.The problems of low efficiency of manual settlement and difficulty of customers queuing for meals in traditional canteens need to be solved first.In order to solve this problem,based on the image recognition technology proposed by the innovation and entrepreneurship team of South China University of Technology,the research and design of a new restaurant self-service settlement terminal product is carried out.Based on the CUBI model proposed by American scholar Corey Stern in 2014,and combined with the characteristics of software and hardware integration design,this paper puts forward a method model for the design of restaurant self-service settlement terminal products,and completes the related design work.The specific design and research contents are as follows:(1)Business factor analysis,based on the specific research elements of CUBI model,integrates and analyses the customer demand,competitive situation and R&D resources of the product,and formulates the business objectives of the product;(2)User demand research,through the investigation of user behavior and demand interviews,combined with KANO model analysis method to determine the specific needs of users and demand attributes.(3)The research of product content,based on the business objectives and user needs and the stage of the project,has planned all the functional content of the product at the present stage,and has constructed the complete functional system of the product system.And the specific design contents of the hardware and software end of the product are determined.(4)Interaction design research,through the study of the general factors affecting human-computer interaction and related laws,combined with the user's demand for the characteristics of restaurant self-service settlement terminal products,formulated the specific strategy of product interaction design.In this paper,the application of CUBI user experience model in product design is deeply studied by taking the restaurant self-service settlement terminal product as an example,and a design method system suitable for this topic is put forward.Based on this,the complete design content of the new restaurant self-service settlement terminal product is obtained in the design study,and the systematic design of the product is finally completed.Finally,the validity of the product is verified by usability testing and user experience satisfaction evaluation.The research method and process of this subject can be extended to the design and development of intelligent products with the combination of software and hardware.
