Transformation And Renewal Strategy Study Of Informal Ground Floor Shops In Residential Area

In recent years,"Broken wall shop" and "commercial transformation" has become a common phenomenon along the residential street.Faced with this,many metropolises take measures to clean up and tore down the shops directly.They not only ignore the needs of resedents living,but also lead to the loss of street vitality and urban charcateristics.This paper focus on the transformation of informal ground floor commercial in residential area,taking Wandezhuang,Tianjin as the research object,exloring spatial character,transformation mechanism,external impact and renewal strategy.Firstly,explore the informal ground floor shops transformation spatial character and distribution.Due to the shortage of commercial facilities in residential area and demand of re-employment,informal business emerges at that time.Due to the lack of management and suitable commercial facilities,they spread and develop continuously.Second,choose typical case to investigate the impact of informal transformation by observation counting and map annotation method.External effect informal transformation is summarized to street space,street landscape,activities,social and economic perspect.Finally,this study propose environment,space,traffic and management problem within informal commercial phenomenon.Taking the concept of city patch,organic renovation and everyday urbanism,we summarize renewal stategy of informal commercial space.Ecological strategy includes intensive space design,ecological planting and green infrastructure.Cultural aesthetics strategy includes composite space layout,multi-dimensional sensation improvement and culture implant.Traffic strategy include traffic steady,temprory street and improvement of parking facilities.Management strategy include public participation and resilience assessment system.Based on the perspective of transformation of informal commercial space,this paper analyzes the phenomenon in residential area,and puts forward the adaptive solution considering the renewal of material space and continiuation of social life.The research provides reference for residential area renewal,preservation of street character,realize urban space justice and social governance.
