Any kind of teaching activities must be carried out under certain circumstances.Therefore,the teaching environment should be considered as an important factor that teaching activities must rely on and cannot get rid of.The design study of the teaching space is actually to translate the requirements of the educational concept into the requirements of the architectural space.With the continuous development of the concept of quality education and the reform of the admissions examination system,society,schools,teachers and students have put forward higher requirements for the teaching space.The research on teaching space has become a hot spot for scholars.The middle school building teaching space is the main place for carrying out teaching activities,and its design will have an important impact on the development of quality education concepts and the effects of teaching activities.Therefore,the thesis hopes to put forward some suggestions for the optimization of the design of the teaching space of middle school through the analysis and interpretation of the concept of quality education.The thesis uses literature reading,field research,qualitative and quantitative research combined,inductive analysis and other research methods.First of all,through the study of relevant theories,the physical and social characteristics of the teaching space are analyzed,and then the relationship between the educational concept and the teaching space is derived.By analyzing the connotation of quality education,it is concluded that the middle school building teaching space adapting to quality education should have two characteristics of openness and function.Secondly,through the field research and data retrieval of some middle schools in China,the current situation of the overall layout of the middle school campus,the teaching space organization mode and the classroom unit space are summarized.Finally,through the analysis of the psychological and behavioral factors of middle school students,the optimization suggestions for the design of the three modules of ordinary classrooms,professional classrooms and public spaces in the teaching space are proposed.Combined with the examples of excellent middle schools at home and abroad,the paper proposes optimization suggestions for the linear teaching space organization mode,and summarizes the teaching space organization mode of group and settlement.
