| The preservation and re-usage of industrial heritage in China always focus on the building remains.The focus on the value of science and technology is weaker than other intrinsic values(historical,social or artistic)at any stage.The transformation of building remains becoming hollow and homogenization because of lacking its core value-the transfer of scientific value.The development of modern industry is of great significance to the rise of Deyang from agricultural county to industrial key city.The large number of industrial relics in Deyang,the remains made in Three-line Construction,witnessing the course of industrial development of China.In recent years,urban planning is turning to Period of Inventory Planning.Among the objects of land utilization,a large number of industrial industrial lands which have been forced idle stand in the breach due to factors such as upgrading of an industrial structure,the inability of production space to adapt to new technologies.Deyang Refractory Factory,one of the few remaining and relatively intact Three-line Construction industrial relics in the downtown,is listed in the Industrial Heritage Adaptive Reuse Area and will face with two alternatives--demolition or retain.In the age of inventory planning,the adaptive reutilization of industrial heritage need to show its own characteristics more rationally.This paper is about to taking the Deyang Refractory Factory as an example to explore how to evaluate and how to protect and recur the science and technology value of industrial heritages.First of all,based on current research results,this paper analysis status quo to prove the importance and necessity of the science and technology values and propose the contextual research framework of modern Industrial Heritage in Sichuan.The thesis summarizes the status of domestic and overseas typical industrial heritage re-use cases on the premise of protecting the value and elaborate the methods and characteristics which provide ideas for the following strategies.Secondly,according to the research framework,this thesis finds the core key of value recurrence through consulting a large number of literature,fieldwork research,visits andsummarizing and analyzing characteristics of factory buildings,production processes and machinery equipment of Deyang Refractory Factory.Than,on the basis of historical literature review and fieldwork,the thesis evaluates the intrinsic values of industrial buildings by using comprehensive scoring method.The protection evaluation system of the Deyang Refractory Factory industrial heritage,which should be taken as the bottom line and standard of reusing strategies,can be established accordingly.Finally,the thesis proposes a classified,phased dynamics updating strategy on the premise of protecting the value,satisfying regional development needs.Then,taking the high-alumina workshop Sintering Process building adaptive reutilization as an example,the thesis try to proposes suggestions about how to conserve and exhibit the value of science and technology effectively,such as the strategy of transforming it into an experiential industrial museum. |
