HSM is the executive part of steam turbine digital electro-hydraulic control system(DEH),which plays the role of regulating the power of the steam turbine.This paper first gives the working principle of HSM.Then,the design methods of the electro-hydraulic control system at home and abroad are analyzed.On this basis,a servo controller of HSM is designed based on an ARM-based MCU and FPGA,which communicates with the supervisor monitor via Ethernet.Then,based on the requirements of Shanghai steam turbine company about performance test of HSM,a performance test system of HSM has been developed which serves to study the performance of quick-close,open-close,step response and the functionality of unloader.Finally,aiming at improving the reliability of servo control system of HSM,a non-concurrent hot standby redundancy scheme has been proposed which can eliminate the effect of a failed controller.Under this scheme,an arbiter-based hot standby redundancy structure and a self organizing peer(SOP)hot standby redundancy structure are designed and implemented.Next,some tests under the same failure conditions are ran and the test results show that both the two structures can successfully achieve the function of redundancy.Except that without bringing an extra arbiter,the SOP hardware structure is more reliable compared with the arbiter-based structure.
