With the rapid development of education,the construction of colleges and universities has also been widely valued by the society.As one of the most important buildings in University buildings,dormitory building occupies the largest proportion of building area and students use the longest time.Its disadvantages such as high energy consumption,poor living environment,high density and single form not only cause the waste of a large amount of funds and energy,but also directly affect the quality of life of students.With the progress of information age,BIM technology has brought more development opportunities for building energy-saving design.Its own characteristics and advantages solve the shortcomings and disadvantages of traditional energy-saving design.In this study,BIM technology is used as a research tool,taking Xi'an as an example,to study the passive energy-saving design strategy of university dormitory buildings.Firstly,the paper summarizes and analyses the unique climate and topographic environment in Xi'an.Through a large-scale field investigation of the existing dormitory buildings in Xi'an,the energy-saving problems of the existing dormitory buildings in Xi'an are analyzed and summarized from three aspects: overall planning,building monomer and detailed design.Then,through the above analysis and summary,typical existing dormitory building cases are selected,and the field thermal environment test and BIM technology energy-saving analysis and simulation are carried out from three levels of building light environment,wind environment and thermal environment.According to the above test and simulation data,the specific energy-saving drawbacks of the building are summarized through analysis and comparison.Finally,based on the overall planning of dormitory buildings and energy-saving design of building units in Colleges and universities in Xi'an region,and based on the climate and topographic characteristics of Xi'an region,this paper draws the corresponding energy-saving design strategies through BIM technology energy-saving analysis software,including three parts: dormitory building site design,building monomer design and energy-saving design of peripheral envelope structure.Then,according to the energy-saving strategies summarized above,energy-saving renovation and energy-saving optimization scheme design of typical existing building cases are carried out,and energy consumption simulation calculation of the scheme is carried out by using BIM software respectively.The energy-saving goal of dormitory building can be achieved by comparing the data before and after the optimization scheme.This research hopes to promote the development of low energy consumption in our country,and also provide a reference for the relevant norms of energy conservation in university dormitory buildings,promote the improvement and updating of the relevant norms of energy conservation in this building,and contribute to the design and development of university dormitory buildings,which has certain theoretical value and practical significance.
