From 2016 to 2018,as a major electrical designer participating in designing and completing the automatic hydrological telemetry system of Ganjiang Xingan Navigation and Hydropower Project in Jiangxi province.During the design process,I made use of local hydrological historical data as well as rules and regulations of the automatic hydrological telemetry system.I have completed the scheme design of system equipment and equipment bidding,installation,test and operation.The main content of this paper is based on this report.The integrity,real-time and accuracy of water situation information are directly related to the reasonableness of water dispatching decision of flood control department.According to the environment of the river basin where the project is located,analyzed the economy and reliability of various common communication technologies on ensuring reliable information transmission.GPRS technology has the characteristics of transmitting signals,which is more in line with the development trend of the current form.But,the environment of drainage basin is complex and the geographical span is large in China,GPRS communication network cannot be fully covered and some wireless communication network facilities near hydrological monitoring points aren't perfect,the water information can't be collected smoothly.However,the BeiDou Satellite communication technology independently developed by China can solve the problem of incomplete network coverage,improve the data acquisition reliability for water situation measurement and reporting.Based on the analysis of the transmission characteristics of GPRS and BeiDou Satellite network,the report designs a scheme of automatic hydrological telemetry system based on GPRS and BeiDou dual-channels.According to the scheme,the report is analyzed and designed from the aspects of system composition,main functions of each part and network scheme of channel,realizing the working mode of dual-channel network and obtaining timely and effective water situation information by the system.Finally,through the test of the system and the comprehensive analysis and summary of the system operation results,the whole system still has some shortcomings to be improved,and some improvement measures are proposed.In the report,the integration of mature technology equipment and civilian network in the market is applied in the engineering practice,which provides ideas and good reference value for the optimization scheme design in the future similar engineering construction.
