The residential area is almost the living space used most frequently by humans,and a good microclimate environment is a prerequisite for improving the outdoor comfort there.The wind environment is the most important factor affecting the comfort of human settlements in the microclimate environment of residential areas.Wind can accelerate the diffusion of particulate matters in the air and the transpiration of plants,which have an impact on various elements of the microclimate.In addition,the winds of different seasons also affect people's mood and comfort.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to analyze the wind environment in residential areas and adopt landscaping methods to improve it so as to provide people with a comfortable and pleasant space for outdoor activities.Based on microclimate wind environment and CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics)wind environment simulation technology,this paper conducts research on the No.7 residential area in Luoyang City.Field research,theoretical research,data measurement,computer simulation and other research methods are used to find out a way of conducting adaptive landscape greening design which is suitable for the microclimate in the residential area.It is expected to provide reference value and technical means for the landscape architects in the future to improve the wind environment in the residential area and carry out the landscape greening design scientifically and rationally,so as to maximize the green ecological livability of the living environment.The main research results are as follows:(1)The research progress of wind environment at home and abroad and the latest research results are summarized.Based on the previous studies and according to the characteristics of Luoyang area,the impact of different garden elements,especially the distribution pattern of plant greening on the wind environment,was measured empirically with data;(2)Through the numerical simulation of the wind environment of No.7residential area,and relying on the research results of Chinese and foreign scholars summarized in this paper and the field survey results of different plant configurations,this paper proposes a targeted landscape optimization design strategy for the residential area in terms of road layout,functional division and plant configuration;(3)Based on the optimization strategy presented for the residential area,andcombined with the field research in the early stage,the theoretical research and the relevant design codes and specifications for residential area,this paper hereby proposes the following for No.7 residential area: a design principle of “ peopleoriented,ecological,practical,and regional”,a design concept of“quiet and natural;green garden and elegant residence”,an extraction of design elements from the leaves and veins of naturally grown plants,and a landscape layout mode of “two axes,one ring,one central,seven zones,and ten sight viewing spots ”.The scientific and rational landscape design of the residential area was conducted,the relevant design drawings completed;and the completed layout of the landscape greening design was brought into the CFD simulation software for simulation verification,thereby scientifically and effectively improving the ventilation and windproof efficiency of the residential area,in addition to improving the quality of the living environment while creating a green,ecological and livable space that is warm,comfortable,quiet and natural.
