| With the development of globalization and urbanization,a large number of extant historical sites that contain emotion and collective memory are destroyed.As a memory place with strong cultural characteristics and collective memory,middle school is a necessary condition for the protection of educational activities and cultural quality.However,in the campus construction nowadays,architecture,space and place can hardly complete the cultural expression of middle school and form a sense of identity and cultural heritage.According to the current situation of the lack of humanistic care,spiritual orientation and operating method of cultural expression in the construction,this paper uses literature analysis,field research,space syntax and summarizing method to research Shanghai representative middle school.The research classifies middle school into three logical levels of material narrative,such as narrative theme,material carrier and space order,and summarize the same and different characteristics of different schools,such as Datong High School,Gezhi High School,Nanyang Model High School,No.8 Senior High School,No.3 Girl’s High School and so on.The study finds that the narrative theme is rooted in campus culture and the design basis of culture expression.Material carrier is the main medium what determines the narrative method.Space order forms a complete narrative logic to support the effect.Finally,this paper gets physical narrative method and inheritance strategy based on three elements ‘object’,‘place’,‘event’ of middle school.The conclusion builds a theory system between abstract campus culture,memory,emotion and concrete architecture,material,place,and provides news ideas and methods for the development of middle school campus and cultural heritage. |
