Quantitative description of damage evolution of high-rise building structures under rare earthquakes is the key to achieving performance-based seismic design methods.Although researchers have proposed damage models with different levels of structure from different perspectives,lack of comparison and verification exists,there is no widely accepted damage model,which restricts the further research on this method to some extent.Benchmark has the same standard and is a good public platform for research.So,this dissertation establishes frame-core tube structure Benchmark model based on seismic damage evaluation,the seismic simulation through the shaking table test and the finite element simulation method were used to study the performance of Benchmark in detail,a wealth of reference data was obtained,and a visualization system for the Benchmark database was developed,which facilitates the reference of data and the extension use of Benchmark.The Benchmark can be used as a public platform for damage model verification and frame-core tuberelated seismic theory research,so that the research results of different problems can be compared,and used for reference,which can promote the progress of related research.The specific research work is as follows:Frame-core tube Benchmark prototype structure design and shaking table test.The Benchmark prototype structures were designed by the normative design method and the seismic design method based on expected damage,and the seismic simulation shaking table test was designed and implemented.Based on the results of the shaking table test,the seismic performance and failure mode of the Benchmark scaled model were analyzed.The performance of the Benchmark scaled model based on different methods was compared to explore the structural performance differences caused by different design methods,so as to provide refference for the research on seismic design methods of frame-core tube structure.The failure mode analysis based on damage evaluation of the Frame-core tube Benchmark model.The finite element model of the Benchmark scaled model and prototype structure were established to simulate the whole process of the shaking table test.The damage evaluation plug-in for the Benchmark model was developed,and evaluated quantitatively the damage evolution of the Benchmark model component multiple level and structure overall throughout the shaking table test.The accuracy of the simulation was verified by the experimental data.Comparing the performance difference between the Benchmark prototype structure and the scaled model,and explain the difference from the perspective of similarity ratio.The research results enriched the seismic damage database of Frame-core structrue.Frame-core tube Benchmark database visualization system development.In order to check and use the frame-core tube Benchmark rich database orderly and conveniently,according to characteristics of the Benchmark model database,using the Python language,combined with the GUI tool library wxPython and Matplotlib module to develop the visualization system interface,in this interface the function of data export was set,which is convenient for the researcher to refer to the data and expand the research based on the Benchmark model of this dissertation,and realize the management function of the database.
