The Research Of Access To Renewable Energy And Economic Development In Tanzania

This master's thesis which has the title of “The research of access to renewable energy and economic development in Tanzania”;contains a detailed analysis of Tanzania's renewable energy sector in a detailed assessment which oversees how renewable energy is being used in the country,how the policies of renewable energy have been implemented and more importantly the future of Renewable Energy in Tanzania and how it can positively impact the economy through its utilization in the country.Energy access in Tanzania is one of the substantial barriers to sustainable economic development.Tanzania will not achieve its vision of securing a middle income country status by 2025 and other sustainable development goals unless the energy equation is solved.Access to clean,safe and affordable sources of modern energy is critical for improving people's livelihoods,and the government is keen to adopt a mix of solutions to achieve access to all.The main purpose of this research study is to assess Tanzania's access to renewable energy and development.Through a thorough analysis of developing efficient domestic energy resources,boosting of market-determining energy prices,improving the reliability and security of energy,commercializing and privatizing the energy sector,reducing deforestation and de veloping of human resource.There is a potential in exploring renewable energy in Tanzania,for the development of the people.Affordable and clean energy is one of the 17 sustainable development goals because energy is crucial to economic development.The Research entails that increased energy access leads to improvements in human development index.The key Renewable Energy that has shown the greatest potential and best results in Tanzania is the use of Solar Energy and this has been highlighted and assessed that there can be an increase in investment in Solar energy in Tanzania because of the prospects of solar insolation,its accessibility,durability and effectiveness.The Methodology used in this Thesis paper is a Qualitative Analysis-whereas an in-depth assessment is done on Governmental and ministerial viewpoints of Renewable energy in Tanzania,Scholarly articles,Journals-publications giving an in-depth research and overview of the renewable energy in Tanzania-most importantly this is guided and given a clear perspective by my assessment and suggestions on how to best implement Renewable Energy in Tanzania and also maximization and increase in energy options can bring forward Economic development in a developing country as Tanzania.
