Research On Recreation Level Evaluation Of Shanghai Comprehensive Park's Dedicated Sports Space

Recreation level is an important indicator of measuring designing and management level of comprehensive park's dedicated sports space.At present there are few researches about the designing and recreation level evaluation of the comprehensive park's dedicated sports space.This study uses the method of field research,conducting field investigations of 18 selected dedicated sports spaces of 13 Shanghai comprehensive parks.The study analyzes the characteristics of the site from the sports type,quantity and scale,distribution in the park,interface of space,elements of the site and using of field.The study uses the method of analytic hierarchy process and multi-indicator comprehensive index,from space,ancillary facilities and environment & landscape to select 13 indicators to construct evaluation system,applying it to recreation level evaluation of 18 dedicated sports space.Main results and conclusions of the research are as follows:1)Playground safety(12.91%),playground and ancillary facilities' degree of environment coordination(12.82%),sports facilities safety(9.87%),division and layout(9.79%),playground comfort(9.72%)impact recreation level of the space most.For recreation level of dedicated sports space,security and parkization of sports space should be paid more attention.2)Shanghai comprehensive park has low degree of sports diversification.The number and scale of dedicated sports space are small.It can't effectively meet the needs of the recreational sport.3)Some sports spaces only pay attention to sports function.It cannot befriendly integrated into the surrounding environment.4)The grade of recreation level of 18 dedicated sports space concentrates in grade ? and grade ?.The overall level of dedicated sports space's recreation level of Shanghai comprehensive park is not high.It needs to be improved.Attention should be paid to the optimization about space capacity,all kinds of facilities,playground and ancillary facilities' degree of environment coordination,etc in the future designing and management.5)Based on the perspective of improving recreation level,the study puts forward some optimization suggestions from three aspects about the entire park,a single site and special design: increasing the number of sports type and the space,increasing the safety of sport,adjusting space capacity according to the specific situation,setting ancillary facilities in humanization,softening space interface and boundary shape,increasing the number of sports logo and theme sculpture,plant landscape being designed for recreational sport.This study combines the material space and behavior space research.It is the beneficial supplement of the related studies about urban park's recreation level evaluation and sports space designing.The same or similar site designing and management may refer to this study.The type of urban park may expand to community park in further study.
