Since the early 80's,the first generation of electronic stability system development begins,steering angle sensor as a unit to gather driver's intention starts to equip into vehicle.And with electronic technology and module developing,it makes steering angle sensor being an important component for auto vehicle.With the developing of Hall Sensor,Magnet-Hall Sensor leads the design solution for non-contact structure and system.It would have long service life,environmental advantages,and better than normal design.Based on the existing sensor technologies,with the technical proposal of two magnetics and hall sensors,structure,hardware and software is designed completely.Combined with study of angles calculation method and tolerance calibration method,then a product of angle sensor was completed.Then making it in line with the requirements and improvement in product validity and reliability is realized.With the errors measurement and analyze,pointed out the main errors.And with the study,method to eliminate the errors is found out;with installation in real car and analysis the way of installation,errors caused by installation process in OEMs were found.Then the author given out one kind of error calibration method during installation,making the angle output more accurately.
