At present,permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM),which possesses the advantages of simple structure,high power density,high efficiency,smooth operation and etc.,has been dominated in the small or medium-sized power field of AC variable speed drive system.Vector control is the most widely used in industrial applications,because it can meet the precise control of speed and current.In order to ensure high performance of the PMSM control system,accurate rotor position and velocity information at any time are required.Therefore,mechanical sensor is installed on the rotor shaft for the direct measurement of motor speed and position.This not only reduces the reliability and anti-interference ability of the system,but also increases the volume and cost.Therefore,Hall-effect sensors are employed to replace the traditional high resolution position sensors.In this paper,the basic principle of the estimation method based on sector average velocity is introduced firstly,and the average acceleration estimation method which improves the dynamic performance is introduced.In order to solve the theoretical errors of the two methods,a real-time estimation observer is proposed to obtain the position and speed,which is based on the motion equation.The Hall position signals are considered as vector signals,and the dynamic performance of estimation observer can be further improved by feedforward decoupling the Harmonic vector.The speed signal can be extracted by the phase locked loop(PLL),finally realizing the accurate estimation of position and speed.Secondly,the Matlab simulation model and the motor control system based on the dSPACE 1107 are built to compare and verify the validity of two methods.The performance of two estimation methods under static and dynamic conditions is compared,respectively.The experimental results show that the proposed estimation method based on position observer has better dynamic performance than the traditional estimation method.
