With development of technologies,living environment is becoming better.Accordingly,people get more focused on the security of their residences and properties.Traditional security equipment cannot meet their needs.Smart home security systems are being used by more and more people.With the increase of smart home devices,more and more smart home devices use Wireless Local Area Networks(WLAN)as their main communication means to increase the flexibility and reduce costs of device deployment.For security reasons,researchers need to conduct security audits based on wireless network traffic from these smart home devices.As a source of data for security audits,it is especially important to perform technology monitoring on WLANs used in smart home systems.However,the current WLAN monitoring technology has a very high packet loss rate,which affects the results of the later analysis.In order to reduce the packet loss rate and improve the monitoring efficiency of the wireless network,this article starts with architecture analysis,device driver layer,and physical layer,and performs the following researches:1.Analyze the architecture and parameters of the network monitoring technology,device driver,and physical layer,analyze the methods and parameters currently used in the WLAN monitoring technology,and the impact on WLAN monitoring.2.At the device driver level,a WLAN monitoring method based on device drivers is proposed.The existing methods are improved from the aspects of device-driver working mode and WLAN monitoring data packet processing.This article also evaluate the method from packet loss rate and packet content.Compared with the original mainstream listening method,this method has a lower packet loss rate,and also obtains device state information that is not present in the data packet from original methods.3.According to the physical layer of the wireless network,a WLAN monitoring system based on SDR is designed and implemented.The listening system demodulates the signal of the WLAN physical layer according to the IEEE 802.11 standard,and uses a device driver-based WLAN monitoring method at the device driver layer.The result shows that the system can correctly identify and capture WLAN data.It provides possibility to monitor the WLAN from the physical layer losslessly.
