Semi-rigid base asphalt pavement is widely used in pavement construction in China, but all along, there are some problems in semi-rigid base asphalt pavement, such as weak strength and poor bonding effect. For asphalt pavement, the quality of the bonding state between the semi-rigid base and asphalt surface directly affects the length of its life,if the bonding effect is not good, then over time, the pavement structure in the use of the process is very vulnerable to damage, and then will greatly reduce the overall strength of the pavement, shorten the service life. This paper starts with the treatment between the layers of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement.Through the systematically experimental study, analysis of the relationship between different treatment methods and interlayer bonding strength from multiple angles, the influencing factors of interlayer bonding strength are investigated, detection of the bonding strength between the layers of the specimen by shear and tensile tester.According to the test results, the difference between the treatment of semi-rigid base surface pits and the effect of conventional treatment methods is compared and analyzed. Thus,it provides the basis for the practical application of the treatment project of interlayer base surface pit.In this paper, the maximum shear stress and maximum tensile stress are used as the evaluation indexes of interlayer bonding strength, compared and analyzed the quality of interlayer bonding under different treatment methods, such as treatment of semi-rigid base surface pits,non-treatment and treatment of prime coat oil,The parameters of the pits are optimized by orthogonal test. The results show that compared with the non-treatment of the base surface, the bonding strength of the interlayer after the treatment of the pits and the treatment of the permeable oil has been greatly improved.Compared with the non-treatment of the base surface, and the shear strength between the layers increased by 36.1% during the treatment of the prime coat oil.The tensile strength was increased by 70.02%,and for the treatment of the base pits,The base surface is arranged with 9 pits with a diameter of 25 mm depth of 12 mm,and the bonding strength between layers is the greatest, compared with the non-treatment of the base surface, the shear strength between layers was increased by 48.68%,and the tensile strength was increased by 42.95%.By analyzing the orthogonal test data, the results show that the interlayer interfacial strength increases with the increase of the diameter, depth and number of pits.Under the conditions of this experiment, the above results show that under the condition of selecting suitable pits parameters, the effect of pit treatment on the shear ability of interlayer is better than that of prime coat oil treatment, but for interlayer tensile strength, the treatment effect of prime coat oil is always better than that of pit treatment.
