Water disasters occur frequently with the special geological and regional climate in mountainous.It seriously affects the normal operation of the highway.Therefore,it is extremely important to study the causes of water damage and prevention measures in the western mountainous of Yili,Xinjiang.Based on the theoretical research on water damage,this paper conducts detailed investigations on the water damage of Guozigou expressway,including regional topography,geology,meteorology and hydrology.The main types of water damage diseases in mountainous areas are summarized,including roadbed water damage,roadbed protection water damage,bridge and culvert water damage,and mudslide integrated water damage.One of the main factors that analyze the water damage of subgrade is the insufficient anti-scouring depth.Therefore,the article studies the flood characteristics of regional small watersheds.Through the river hydrological characteristics,the regional flood design flow,erosion and partial erosion of the protection are analyzed to determine the appropriate foundation anti-scouring depth.Further guidance on engineering design applications.In addition,the principles and countermeasures for prevention and control of highway water damage are proposed,and the measures for water damage repair in mountainous highways are summarized.Finally,relying on the water damage project of the Guozigou Highway.The engineering case design is based on the typical case of roadbed protection water damage disease,bridge water damage disease and mudstone water damage comprehensive disease.And carry out the effect evaluation after implementation.Based on the above analysis,the research results have a good applicability to the prevention and control of water damage in Yili.It is of great significance to reduce the economic loss and social impact of the region.It can also provide technical reference for similar mountain highway water damage prevention.
