The semi-rigid base layer of cement stabilized macadam is widely used in highway construction,in recent years,engineers and technicians have carried out a lot of research on its material composition and performance,but research on the mixing process of cement stabilized macadam mixture is not insufficient.It has been shown that the vibration mixing technology applied to the concrete mixing process can greatly improve the quality and efficiency of concrete mixing.In this study,this vibration mixing technology is applied to the mixing process of cement stabilized macadam in highway construction,and in-depth study of its performance provides a reference for the construction of roads in the future.Based on the Anyang Northwest Ring Expressway project,this paper conducts in-depth research on the mechanical properties and durability of vibration mixing cement stabilized macadam base by means of literature investigation,theoretical analysis,laboratory test and paving test road.Firstly,analyzing the strength formation mechanism of cement stabilized macadam and the process characteristics of vibration mixing,and the effect of vibration mixing on the mixture.Secondly,determining the parameters of the vibration mixing time,vibration frequency and other related parameters and test plan.Finally,setting the variable parameters of gradation,cement content and age,conducting indoor comparison test of vibration mixing and conventional mixing of cement stabilized macadam.Applying the vibration mixing to the physical engineering,and the comparison of various performance is carried out by paving the vibration mixing and the conventional mixing test road.Research shows that vibration mixing can improve the compressive strength of cement stabilized macadam,and the effect is maximum for the lower 4% cement content;Vibration mixing has different degrees of improvement of cleavage strength and flexural tensile strength,under the same conditions,the cleavage strength and flexural tensile strength of the dense framework are larger than that of the suspension dense mixture;Vibration mixing can reduce the total water loss rate and dry shrinkage coefficient during the shrinkage of the mixture,and improve the dry shrinkage performance of the mixture;Vibration mixing can improves the temperature shrinkage performance,anti-scour properties and fatigue properties of cement stabilized macadam;Observing the physical engineering test road,the vibration mixing is better than the conventional mixing test road,the cement produced by the vibrating mixer has better uniformity,and the strength of the core sample is higher and the observed cracks are more less.
