Research On Traditional Wooden Lounge Bridge In Southwest Hubei，China

Wooden Lounge Bridge,once widely distributed throughout China,has become a scarce traditional architectural heritage.As one of the existing wooden lounge bridges in China,the Wooden Lounge Bridge in southwest Hubei has regional characteristics and national characteristics because of the geographical environment and the ethnic composition.Through the analysis of different levels and angles,this study is helpful to form a more comprehensive and clear understanding of the architectural culture of wooden lounge bridge in southwest Hubei.Therefore,this study is carried out from the following levels.The first level: through a lot of literature reading,this paper analyzes the natural and human background of the development of the Wooden Lounge Bridge in southwest Hubei.The second level: on the basis of field investigation,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the existing wooden lounge bridges in Southwest Hubei,and summarizes the general characteristics of the wooden lounge bridges in southwest Hubei.According to the bridge span structure,three bridges are selected from the 23 wooden lounge bridges which are counted as typical ones,namely,Guihua Bridge,YaoJiawan Bridge and Yongshun Bridge(hereinafter referred to as "three Bridges"),in order to prepare for the further study.The third level: taking the "three bridges" as the main research object,this paper makes a deep study on the wooden tectonic and the structural mechanics.This is the focus of this paper.In the research part of the wooden tectonic,the function and significance of construction in solving material problem,structure problem and tectonic problem are analyzed based on the study of structure.Through the comparative study of the structure of "three bridges",this paper analyzes the wisdom train of thought of ancient craftsmen to build bridges.In the part of the structural mechanics research,the stress of "three bridges" is simulated by mechanical software,the stress characteristics are summarized,the effect of special structures on the structure of "three bridges" is quantitatively analyzed,and the simulation results are compared and studied.The structure of the "three bridges" has been clearly,objectively and scientifically recognized.Taking the "three bridges" as an example,this paper explains the relationship between the structure mechanism of the simply supported beam structure,the wooden bracing structure and the wooden arch structure of the wooden lounge bridge.This research is helpful to excavate the architectural culture of wooden lounge bridge in southwest Hubei and to protect the wooden lounge bridge entity,and it also has the methodological enlightenment to the bridge construction in the modern similar environment.
